Photo guidelines
Friends for Peace is an initiative to show commitment, passion, and diversity of the pro-peace majority. We encourage you to be creative and to take the post the most interesting photos you can.
This effort will succeed if we follow the three rules below. Volunteers and AFSC staff will moderate images to ensure that all photos are appropriate for this site.
- This is a single-issue campaign supporting a message of peace in Iraq. Any photos promoting other issues, or promoting war, will not be posted on the web site. While signs may be hand-made, all signs must say "_____ for peace."
- Do not post any photos that are obscene, violent, or defamatory. AFSC reserves the right to deny publishing any photos.
- This is a non-partisan effort. Signs that reference a political party or exhorting people to support a candidate for office will not be posted.
When a photo is uploaded, a volunteer moderator or AFSC staff member will review the image to ensure it matches our guidelines. You will receive an email when your photo is either posted on FriendsforPeace.org or flagged for violating the guidelines.
